Norma Oliason, partner and client manager, co-founded King & Oliason in 1990. Norma has over 30 years of experience in income and estate tax planning for high net worth individuals. Her practice includes planning and compliance for closely held businesses, family partnerships, estates, and trusts. She assists clients with philanthropy planning through the use of charitable trusts, private foundations, and outright gifts. She places a high value on conflict-free and ethical client service and is known as a trusted advisor who takes a genuine interest in her client's lives and financial affairs.
Norma received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 1982 and worked for a national accounting firm until 1990. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Rick joined King & Oliason in 2008. His nearly twenty five years of experience in income tax compliance and consulting encompasses work for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations and private foundations. He has special expertise in planning for wealth transfer, estates and trusts, charitable giving, formation and operation of family limited liability companies and valuation issues. Rick has a B.A. in Accounting from Northwestern College, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Seattle Estate Planning Council.
